ORIGINAL OR FAKE? LEARN TO RECOGNIZE A FAKE FUNKO POP!

Our list of fake Pop! is regularly updated.

Be careful with the idea that all the fakes come from China. This is not true, there are some fakes with Made in Vietnam. The reproductions are well done so please stop asking us all the time “it’s a fake” because of the made in China.

Become a pro in recognizing fake subscribe !! Tutorials specially for our subscribers are available.

We have already collected 415 Pop! by categories very easy to use and in pictures. However, as fakes are more and more widespread, we have fleshed out this in 2 ways:
List the points to compare to try to recognize a false Pop!
List the Pop! who have a counterfeit on the siteObviously, we remind you that there are sites to avoid because they are full of fakes like:– AliExpress

– Wish

– Zapals

– DHGate, etc.

We must also pay attention to the origin of the figurines on marketplaces such as eBay, Amazon, Cdiscount, Fnac … because they are often Chinese sellers offering counterfeits.

Recognize a fake Funko Pop! ?

  • Check the serial number:The first point to check is the serial number. This is usually present under the foot or under the head of the figurine. If this serial number is not on your figure:Check the boxes: they often have defects. Here is a non-exhaustive list, but one that can guide you:
The white bands surrounding the figurine
The category of Pop! is absent: Movies, television, Animation, Heroes, Games etc. (be careful, all official Pops don’t necessarily have a category, be sure to check beforehand).
